The Cowichan Intercultural Society is celebrating their upcoming 30th year Anniversary Celebration by featuring three exciting community events on one day: Walk of the Nations (organized by the Walk of Nations Committee, including Social Planning Cowichan, CIS and community members), One World Festival and Tapestry Gala on October 22, 2011. Transition Cowichan will be there.

The One World Festival is a large day time community event that will attract a wide and diverse range of participants from the Cowichan Valley and beyond. This free and accessible event will feature a full line up of entertainment, activities, vendors and ethnic food in a multi-cultural context.
