Josh Tickell will premiere his new movie, “FREEDOM” on Friday night (register here). Josh is a professional speaker, author, filmmaker and alternative fuels enthusiast. You may remember his 2009 film, “FUEL”, which won the 2008 Sundance Film Festival Audience Award, and was described by the Seattle Times as “Dynamic, stirring…a must-see, and not just for environmentalists.”

Josh’s new movie, “FREEDOM” takes a hard look at North America’s ever-growing addiction to foreign oil, and delves into the pros and cons of the “black sheep” that is ethanol.

6:00-7:00pm: Mixer with appetizers at the Quw'utsun' Cultural and Conference Centre, which offers guests an authentic Cowichan First Nations Experience.

7:00-8:00pm: Opening ceremony for the Collective Biofuels Conference with Member of Parliament Jean Crowder and Cowichan Community Resilience Awards for local Sustainability Heroes.

8:00-9:00pm: International Premiere of the documentary film FREEDOM!

9:00-10:00pm: Panel Discussion with award-winning filmmaker Josh Tickell, Producer of FREEDOM
